Rouse. Several told
Stacy they would have taken the STS 107
Crew Patch. Stacy stood
guard over it for about 3 hrs. He would not
leave for fear someone would
take it. When Pricilla Powell called Houston
They told Stacy to Bag it himself. He
did and the FBI showed up to take it into custody.
Milton called him that night
and told him, "perhaps God had sent him to that
very spot like an Angel to stand guard." |

Elvis,
I am going to forward an e-mail I received from Stacy Rouse.
Several told Stacy
they would have taken the STS 107 Crew Patch. Stacy stood
guard over it about 3 hrs. He would not
leave for fear someone would take it. When
Pricilla Powell called Houston They told Stacy
to Bag it himself. He did and the FBI showed up
to take it into custody. I called him that night
and told I thought God had sent him to that very spot and I was
proud of Him.

I could never thank you enough for the
wonderful pictures, I have sent them out to a
lot of friends and co-workers. I would like very much to keep in
contact with you. I heard that there were some residents in San
Augustine that wanted to erect a granite memorial at the site where the
patch was found. If I hear more about this, I will be sure to let you
know. Again thank you for your generosity and kind words....God Bless
We really are all very
proud of you!!
[Rouse, Stacy] I
received a call shortly after returning home from a search effort
that was going on in San Augustine. It was from a man that I had met
briefly while standing guard over the STS-107 shuttle mission patch
which I found on the side of HWY 103E. He was taking pictures of the
patch along with countless others passing by. He was the only person
to ask if he could take my picture along with the patch. I'm very
thankful to Mr.. Marvin Powell and the thoughtful words he used to
describe the event......Stacy Rouse

Dear Stacy,
Mat 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? and one of them shall not
fall on the ground without your Father ( seeing it fall)
Mat 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
The eye of The almighty watched As that patch fluttered to the ground .
And then he sent an angel to stand guard over it.
Well done
